It seems this questions has a lot of wheels starting to turn in people's heads. Some are instantly turned, and say that if your friend is a cheater, then they are most likely fine with backstabbing you and you shouldn't be friends with such a toxic person. While others say that there can be many understandable factors for someone to make a mistake like cheating—for instance, they're in an abusive relationship and it feels like their only way out. Or maybe the cheating was just the catalyst to help your friend realize that they are unhappy in their relationship and they need to end it.

The answers seem to be split 50/50 on whether you should stick by your friend or follow your own morals in a situation like this.
